Vanessa Bryant is going through some of it memories of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

They include jerseys, jackets and shoes.

Kobe and Gigi Bryant died in January in a tragic helicopter crash. The Lakers organization paid tribute to Kobe and Gigi at the Staples Center where Vanessa Bryant, Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan and Lakers icon Shaquille O’Neal all delivered beautiful, moving speeches.

One of the greatest, if not the best, players in Lakers franchise history, Kobe Bryant has won five championships and two Finals MVPs with Los Angeles. He averaged 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game during the regular season.

Kobe also won the 2008 MVP Award and was an 18-time All-Star. He was named Hall of Famer this year, but the ceremony will not take place until 2021 due to COVID-19.

Along with Kobe, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett will also be entered.

Given that the Hall of Fame ceremony is far away, it’s unclear who will speak for Kobe. Chances are Vanessa Bryant, Jordan, or Phil Jackson could do it.

Jordan was essentially like Kobe’s older brother, while Jackson won five rings with the Black Mamba over the Lakers.

It still doesn’t seem real that Kobe is no longer with us. However, basketball fans around the world will never forget the impact it has had on the sport.
