The San Francisco Giants unveiled their City Connect Series jerseys on Monday showcasing the iconic bridge with a gradient of fog and an orange-on-white background. But it is drawing criticism on social media for a lack of creativity in its inspiration.

The Nike-designed jerseys will be worn during the weekend series against the Washington Nationals and will be retired for Tuesday home games the remainder of the 2021 season.
Giants Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations Mario Alioto told ESPN the club took the main pieces that stood out about San Francisco.
