American football will start the decade with new uniforms as the men’s and women’s teams try to secure a spot at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. The new sets, as well as the Olympic uniforms of the American team for different sports, were unveiled by Nike on Wednesday to commemorate New York Fashion Week.

The white home uniforms feature a similar look to last season, and what stands out the most is the retro Nike logo that takes over as opposed to the standard swoosh. The retro swoosh is also present for the navy blue away kits, which feature a unique design that celebrates an abstract pattern on the state borders, hand-drawn by the Nike design team. According to US Soccer, the Americans will be the only national team to display the retro swoosh on their uniforms.

For the Olympics, assuming the United States qualifies, the jersey will be the same design but feature “USA” instead of the badge, according to US Soccer. It would be the same style the USWNT used at the 2016 Olympics.

Here’s what the new kits look like:

And here is an explanation of the new pattern for the navy blue away jerseys:

The Women’s National Team will make their away debut on March 5 in Orlando against England in the SheBelieves Cup, which you can watch on fuboTV (Try it for free). They will make their debut with the white kit in their second game against Spain.

The men’s national team will wear them on their two-match trip to Europe in March, starting with a battle against the Netherlands in Eindhoven on March 26. The United States will face Wales four days later in Cardiff.
