Sarah Jessica Parker’s latest off-duty look was pure off-duty chic — with a Broadway theater to match — in New York City on Wednesday.
The “And Just Like That…” star arrived at the Hudson Theater in casual attire, including light gray sweatpants, a black top and a black quilted coat. The ensemble, worn en route to rehearsing her ‘Plaza Suite’ piece with hubby Matthew Broderick, also included layered necklaces for a burst of quirky glamour. Parker’s ensemble was completed with a black shoulder bag and sunglasses.
The ‘Sex and the City’ actress’ ankle boots were equally sharp, featuring black suede uppers with almond-shaped toes and front zippers. The style also included cropped black block heels, giving them a slight increase in height while still being walkable. The pair coordinated perfectly with her outerwear while remaining versatile to be worn all year round.
Suede boots are always a popular cold weather trend, due to their full coverage and generally soft texture. Pairs like Parker’s are particularly versatile for layering and wearing with a variety of ensembles. She’s not the only star taking a look at style this season; stars like Karlie Kloss, Adele and Paris Hilton have also worn pairs from Manolo Blahnik, Stuart Weitzman and Saint Laurent in recent weeks.
Parker is a chameleon with a colorful and shimmering shoe collection – with some notable favorites, often from SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker. The actress wears t-strap and pointy-toe pumps on the red carpet, both from her own line and from brands like Blahnik, Rene Caovilla and Christian Louboutin. Outside of working hours, she has also been seen in boots, flats and sandals from brands such as Isabel Marant, Repetto and Swedish Hasbeens, and has been known to don Koolaburra’s wedge sneakers for an extra boost of the height.
