Kim Kardashian’s latest look was a throwback to her sleek avant-garde style.
The founder of KKW Fragrance celebrated the upcoming release of ex-husband Kanye West’s upcoming album, “Donda,†at a listening event at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta last night. For the occasion, she wore a fitted black shirt, pants and a Balenciaga full face mask. Kardashian’s shirt featured sleek long sleeves with attached gloves, creating a bodysuit effect. Her mask featured holes for her eyes and mouth, as well as a back hole for her long ponytail braid – making the former reality star almost unrecognizable.
When it comes to shoes, Kardashian has stayed true to her penchant for high heels in a pair of over the knee boots, also from Balenciaga. The shoes featured pointed pumps and stiletto heels that were at least 4 inches high.
Kardashian’s boots created a lengthening effect, making her outfit completely clean. The black-on-black style also coordinated with West’s Balenciaga outfit, which also included a full face mask paired with combat boots, cargo pants, and a leather jacket covered in black spikes.
This isn’t the first time Kardashian has worn the sleek boot style. She has already donned purple and silver models of Balenciaga’s famous point-toe knife style for different events over the years.
Similar point-toe boots and pumps have become a trend this summer, due to their ability to instantly give any look an instant pointy element. Stars like Kate Beckinsale, Saweetie and Lady Gaga have all worn versions of the silhouette in recent weeks, from top brands like Christian Louboutin and Gianvito Rossi.
The former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star has a long history of daring outfits under her belt, from sheer leggings to mesh dresses. The shoes and clothing from the Yeezy collections are one of Kardashian’s staples. These pieces are often paired with monochrome or complementary outfits from a wide range of top brands, including Balmain, Balenciaga, Maison Margiela and Mugler, among others.
Recently, she has also worn a rotation of trendy sandals with square toe, ankle and thong straps from brands like Prada, Manolo Blahnik and DSquared2.
Aside from her status as a fashion icon, Kardashian has a range of stylish projects under her belt. The media personality was previously the main star for 20 seasons of the hit reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”. She is also the creator and founder of numerous brands; most recently, she launched her shapewear line Skims in 2019. Kardashian also founded her makeup and fragrance brands, called KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance, respectively, in 2017. Previously, the mogul operated clothing and accessories store Dash with her sisters Kourtney and Khloe, and was a stylist for Paris Hilton.
