Billie Eilish showed off her signature style of rugged neutrals on her world tour, and during her stopover in Australia she visited “Hot Nights With Abbie Chatfield” for a 10-minute interview. To record the segment, the 20-year-old singer wore handpicked vintage items from Storeroom Vintage, including a reworked cargo maxi skirt and an oversized Carhartt jacket with distressed detailing.
The skirt featured a prominent slit at the back that both allowed movement and revealed Eilish’s shoe moment: a pair of Angel Chen sneakers with intricate, futuristic lacing and shapely notched-sole platforms. She paired them with matching ribbed socks pulled over tan mid-shin sunglasses and plenty of silver rings, including Gucci’s double G key ring, a nod to her relationship with the brand when she recently made her debut in the new eyewear campaign. Eilish opted for fresh makeup, showcasing her jet black hair and bangs.
Host Abbie Chatfield, also casually dressed in a loose shirt dress and western knee-high boots, sat next to Eilish as the duo posed for photos inside the studio. “You better believe @billieeilish will be joining the show tonight!” she captioned an Instagram post to promote the exciting moment.
While Eilish’s look is more grungy, she also sniffed out “Clueless”-inspired ’90s trends like sweater vests and miniskirts while on tour. At the end of August, she coordinated a lace dress with chunky moon boots and a newsboy cap.
