Black Sabbath fans now have another option, courtesy of DC Shoes. Skate brand’s latest Black Sabbath capsule collection celebrates 50e anniversary of the British rock group’s release in 1971, Master of reality (which points to n ° 300 the Rolling stoneof the 500 best albums of all time.)

The DC x Black Sabbath line is inspired by the font and color of the iconic record cover – black, gray and royal purple – as well as the various logos of the metal pioneers. Artist lineup includes Harshmellow with special guests J Mascis from Dinosaur Jr., Jeff Ament from Pearl Jam and Mario Rubalcaba, Surfbort, Lou Barlow (Sebadoh, Folk Implosion), The Spits, King Khan and The Melvins.

DC also recruited runners from the team to help with the project. Long-time Sabbath fan and skateboard legend Danny way covered “Embryo”, while the UVWAYS group, with professional skateboarder DC Evan smith, took “Children of the grave”.

SORThe art of ‘s was custom designed by an artist / muralist / skate deck designer BB Bastide. Only 1,000 copies of the vinyl-only tribute have been made and it will not be sold.
