It’s fair to say that spring is the best season for jacket lovers, and I know that because I count myself among them. Look in any wardrobe in my apartment and, more likely than not, you’ll come across a jacket – or four. From blazers and button down shirts to fringe styles and vintage tweed, you name it, I got it. After all, living in the UK, the lightweight jacket really is a non-negotiable item of clothing, and it’s during those fickle spring months that it really comes into its own.
It seems I’m not alone in this predilection, as this season’s street-style snaps were full of enviable spring jackets that will satisfy the appetite of even the most ardent drug addict. A preppy touch has also appeared, notably in the form of varsity jackets and baggy bombers – a perfect match for this season’s Noughties comeback.
