Lee Corso had a strong prediction heading into Ohio State’s Big Ten opener against Wisconsin.
“Wisconsin needs a miracle to beat Ohio State,” Corso said.
The rest of ESPN’s “College GameDay” team was on the same page, picking the Buckeyes over the Badgers on Saturday night.

“If Ohio State wasn’t going to be completely black, I would have picked Wisconsin,” ESPN analyst Pat McAfee said. “But since they’re wearing blackout jerseys, give me Ohio State.”
WWE star and “College GameDay” guest selector Bianca Belair singled out the Buckeyes by calling quarterback CJ Stroud a “Heisman Trophy favorite.”
ESPN college football analyst and former Ohio State quarterback Kirk Herbstreit backed out of picking Ohio State over Wisconsin because he’s on call for the game with Chris Fowler and Holly Rowe.
‘College GameDay’ last picked Ohio State to beat Notre Dame
Heading into Ohio State’s season opener against Notre Dame, the hosts of “College GameDay” believed the Buckeyes were a heavy favorite.
Corso, Howard and rapper Jack Harlow each picked Ohio State to beat Notre Dame to start 2022.
“I could have been from South Bend,” Harlow said. “I could have grown up as a Notre Dame fan, but you couldn’t have paid me to say Notre Dame today.
“I want to get out of here alive. I choose Ohio State.”
“College GameDay did not pick Ohio State’s other non-conference games against Arkansas State or Toledo.

Prior to the 2022 season, Corso and Herbstreit each predicted that Ohio State would win the 2022 national championship.
Ohio State has eight national championships, the last of which won the inaugural College Football Playoff in 2014.
