Jennette McCurdy wore mixed trends and classic pieces while chatting with Drew Barrymore.

The author stopped by “The Drew Barrymore Show” on Monday to discuss her new memoir, “I’m Glad My Mom Died.” Her book details McCurdy’s upbringing as a child actor and how she began to heal after her mother died. During the show, McCurdy wore a cropped black leather jacket paired with a black pleated skirt from Alice + Olivia. His jacket featured a folded collar and a belted hem. Underneath her jacket, she wore a black crop top with a green and white stripe down the bottom hem. McCurdy completed her look with earrings, rings and a chunky silver bracelet by David Yurman.

The former Nickelodeon actress added height to her frame with a pair of platform shoes. She wore a pair of white sneakers with green details. Her green laces perfectly tied in the green of her top. The thick soles of his shoes totaled at least two inches. While platform soles have been popular for a while now, the resurgence of solidified platform sneakers from the early 2000s has returned to mainstream culture. The retro silhouette was spotted on every Fall 2020 catwalk, including Prada, Miu Miu and Gucci.

McCurdy showed off her style a bit while promoting her new book, and she recently donned some leather and platform sneakers. Heading to “Good Morning America,” she wore an oversized white button down with a black cropped sweater on top, paired with black leather shorts and black leather thigh high boots. Before that, she appeared on “The Daily Show” wearing a pink sweater vest with black latex pants and white chunky platform sneakers.
