Warriors Unveil New City Edition Jerseys; Oakland Forever, presented by Rakuten

The Golden State Warriors today unveiled Oakland Forever, presented by Rakuten, the team’s new Nike City Edition jerseys for the upcoming NBA season. The jerseys celebrate the team’s 47 seasons in Oakland by focusing on one of the most iconic and beloved moments in franchise history, the We Believe era.

Inspired by the uniforms worn by the team from 1997 to 2010, the new City Edition jerseys feature Oakland on the front of the uniform, where the team played their home games from 1972 to 1996 and from 1997 to 2019. The This era included We Believe’s famous playoff run in 2007, when the Warriors became the first seed to defeat a seed in a best-of-seven playoff series with a 4-2 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
