GTA fans continue to uncover details hidden in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, including a store that carries Michael’s jacket from GTA 5.
Rockstar Games recently released the remastered Grand Theft Auto Vice City as part of Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition, and fans continue to find Easter eggs in classic titles. One player recently noticed the inclusion of Michael’s prologue jacket from the much newer game GTA 5.
Michael wears an assortment of clothes in Grand Theft Auto 5, ranging from shirts and pants fitted by players to clothes predesigned for him by Rockstar Games themselves. Michael’s predefined clothes during the prologue to the last numbered entry in the Grand Theft Auto The series shows the protagonist wearing dark blue jeans, black and beige sneakers, and a red checkered winter coat. This thick jacket was discovered by a RGT fan in a Vice City clothing store during a party of Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition.
Reddit user Kane-Trevorrow recently posted a screenshot of a GTA Vice City clothing store showing protagonist Tommy Vercetti standing in front of a wall with two racks of a familiar red checkered jacket. These jackets can be found at Vice City clothing stores alongside clothing similar to the ones Franklin wore in Grand Theft Auto 5 cutscenes. With both GTA 5 With protagonists pictured in these clothing stores, the absence of Trevor’s thick green prologue coat and winter boots is noticeable.
GTA 5 begins with a prologue that introduces two of the game’s main characters and one of the main aspects of the new mainline RGT title: hold-ups. Although Michael usually wears expensive suits and watches in Grand Theft Auto 5, the prologue shows it in a significantly different light. The prologue takes place in a frozen snow-covered landscape known as Ludendorff which was a suitable setting for Michael to wear a thick coat, albeit in comparison Grand Theft Auto Vice CityThe Miami version is a weirder place to wear thick winter clothes.
There are many new RGT fans who joined the franchise with Grand Theft Auto 5 and they may be more likely to find GTA 5 Easter eggs like this City of vice a. While players can experience Michael’s GTA 5 prologue jacket in Grand Theft Auto Vice City, it seems that players cannot buy and wear the winter clothes. Although some RGT fans use this coat as an example of reusing Rockstar Games assets, the jacket does not appear exactly like in Grand Theft Auto 5the prologue of. It is likely that a lot of assets in the original Grand Theft Auto Trilogy clothing inspired in GTA 5, while Grand Theft Auto 5 may have inspired some of the artistic direction of recent remasters.
