The Bering Hoodiz 2 textile jacket offers protection and attitude

0

Bering is a French brand specializing in jackets, gloves, pants, etc. Its latest product is a hoodie featuring a textile construction, Class A protection and Kevlar inserts for abrasion resistance.

For the casual rider who wants a jacket that protects and blends in with the crowd, consider the Hoodiz 2. Pair it with casual riding boots and jeans and riding boots to complete the look. Bering has a ton of other things worth checking out like the Mils Slim Riding Chinos that will work well with the Hoodiz.

There will be two versions of the Hoodiz 2 textile jacket. You can choose between the standard black colourway which is otherwise plain or the black and red which features skull and crossbones graphics.

Even with all its protective elements, the garment looks like a normal garment. Surprisingly, Bering was able to incorporate shoulder and arm protection, as well as slots for a back protector and even Kevlar inserts that give this gear some slip resistance. There’s even a small loop at the back of the waist so you can connect the jacket to your pants.

The jacket is EN 17092 Class A rated and the shoulder and elbow armor pieces are CE Level 1 rated. Feel free to purchase CE Level 2 armor if you wish as the original pads are removable. A back protector can be purchased separately.

As for its other features, you get two external pockets, a wallet pocket and an inside pocket, and a hood with a drawstring. To dial in the fit, there are internal straps located at the wrist.
