Taylor Swift sat down with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” after releasing “Midnights.” The long-awaited album has already started breaking records just days after its highly anticipated release. Swift, who was dressed in a power suit and high shoes, opened up about her extensive recording process, collaborations and reveals hidden details fans may not have noticed in her self-directed music video for “Anti-Hero”.

Swift wore a suit of Dorothee Schumacher consists of a tailored blazer jacket and straight trousers, with the top neatly layered over a turtleneck most likely tucked into her trousers. The clean style featured a retro-modern black and white geometric pattern made up of rectangular figures going in all directions, creating an optical illusion on the “Bejeweled” singer’s body.

Women’s suits are custom-made two-piece designs specifically designed for a woman’s shape. The style emerged in the early 1900s during the suffragette movement, but only reached its peak in the 1980s as more women entered the workforce.

Beloved country meets pop star paired her structured look alongside sparkling silver Nickho Rey hoops that linked the expressive ensemble. Swift meant business, which meant combing her hair down and popping her bold red lip.

Further punctuating the black accents of her tailored ensemble, the Grammy Award winner stepped out in black Jimmy Choo platform boots that elevated the lyricist to new heights, the impressive sleek shoes streamlining her look. The boots had block heel detailing which offered support to the performer, while visually the boots gave off a glossy sheen which only made the shoe style more appealing. Already standing at a staggering 5’10, Swift simply towered over the crowd thanks to the extra 3-4 inches provided by the platforms.
