Today, the St. Louis Blues announced that they will wear the Stifel logo in the upper right corner of their Alternate Blue, Road White and Retro Blue jerseys beginning in the 2022-23 season. The deal is to last for five years, until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Stifel is a wealth management firm headquartered in St. Louis. They have associated with the Blues in various ways over the past two decades, including as their current helmet sponsor.

“Stifel, like the Blues, was born and raised in St. Louis,” St. Louis Blues president Tom Stillman said in the press release. “We cherish our partnership and the important role it has played in helping the Blues continue to compete for the Stanley Cup as a mid-sized franchise.”

The Stifel logo will change color depending on the jersey it appears on to better match the uniform color scheme. The logo will be white on royal blue on the home board, navy on white on the roads, and yellow on vintage blue on the throwback-inspired alternatives. The patch will be cut to the shape of the logo, it will not be a large bulky rectangle.

Fans will be able to purchase Stifel branded shirts from the Blues Team Shop from September, those who already have a patchless shirt and (for whatever reason) want to purchase a Stifel patch and have it applied to their shirt will have the ability to do so through the team store.

St. Louis becomes the fifth National Hockey League team to announce its jersey ad since the league allowed teams to make therefore from the 2022-23 season following the Washington Capitals, Columbus Blue Jackets, Pittsburgh penguinsand Vegas Golden Knights.
