Saucony launches its latest Children’s program “Running for good” in partnership with four North American children’s hospitals. The program is simple: the brand launches limited edition shoe collections, designed with input from children facing health and hospitalization issues, and the proceeds are donated to hospitals to help children and families in the area. need.
Saucony started the program in 2020 with a partnership with a single children’s hospital, and it has only grown from there.
This year, Saucony partnered with patients at Children’s Healthcare Atlanta, Boston’s Children’s Hospital, Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, and Children’s Hospital of New Orleans. Over a dozen children between the ages of 8 and 20 worked on this year’s Saucony “Run For Good†shoe designs.
The four limited edition collections include performance running shoes, lifestyle sneakers and apparel (running shorts, trucker caps, etc.). The first collection will feature the designs of five children from Children’s Healthcare in Atlanta and will launch on August 6, followed by the Boston and Toronto Hospitals collections in September, and the final in spring 2022.
