Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, was spotted enjoying a night out in London – and she wore a pair of shoes that sent a strong message the royals seem familiar with

Sarah Ferguson was spotted enjoying a night out in London with her daughter Princess Eugenie – and she sent a very provocative message with her shoes.

The pair were pictured leaving Oswalds Private Members Club in London’s Mayfair earlier this week.

For the outing, Fergie wore a bright red military-style jacket over a simple black dress.

But the most eye-catching part of the ensemble were her comfortable slipper-style navy blue shoes, which read “Never Complain” and “Never Explain” on it.

The mantra is well known for being something the Royal Family has embraced for decades – and something the Queen appears to have lived through during her 70-year reign.

Sarah’s evening on Tuesday, where she wore the shoes, was the night before her ex-husband Prince Andrew was stripped of his honorary title of ‘freedom of York’ in the final blow for him.

A number of councilors and members of the public who spoke at the meeting at York Racecourse on Wednesday called on the Queen or the government to strip Andrew of the Duke of York title, removing what the councilor Labor Aisling Musson called: “This stain of an association with this town.”

It comes after the prince earlier this year reached an out-of-court settlement with his accuser, Virginia Giuffre, in a civil sex complaint filed in the United States.

Fergie is still very close to Andrew and although she is divorced, she still lives with him in his Royal Lodge home on the Windsor estate.

Sarah once told the Daily Mail, “We’re the happiest divorced couple in the world. We’re divorced from each other, not each other.”

Last year she also told the Sunday Times: “I travel a lot and have always been able to get to where I am at home. If I stay at a hotel I have the same family photos and candles scented around me.

“When I’m in the UK I’m lucky enough to stay at the Royal Lodge. I wouldn’t call it my home as it would be presumptuous.”

Meanwhile, this isn’t Fergie’s first time wearing the Del Toro X Rotten Roach shoes.

In May 2019, she also wore them on a trip to Toronto, where she visited the Onsite Gallery.
