Maple Leafs jerseys pay homage to the first ones they wore, like the Toronto Arenas from 1917-1919. A blocky white “T” is across the chest with “Arenas” surrounding it in a navy blue silhouette. The team motto “Honour, Pride, Courage” is on the inside of the collar.

Arenas jerseys have been worn once since 1919, when the Maple Leafs played the Carolina Hurricanes on December 19, 2017, marking the 100th anniversary of the NHL’s inaugural season opener. The Arenas lost 10-9 to the Montreal Wanderers on December 19, 1917.

Toronto jerseys can be pre-ordered here.
