Yesterday, Rihanna wanted us to wear turquoise from head to toe, and she wants us to end our fall wardrobe with one piece: the corset boot. The entrepreneur took to Instagram to post a series of photos of herself wearing the Fenty item in different ways.
RiRi wore a dark gray jacket with a belted waist, a neutral baseball cap, chunky chain jewelry and gray ankle length pants, all accented with a dramatic red lip. “You’re sick of me…” she captioned her post.
“Never,” Bella Hadid wrote on behalf of all of us. RiRi didn’t stop there, as she continued to add more looks to her grid. She wore a structured striped blue blazer over a black sweatshirt and biker shorts, paired with a pair of white rubber fused leather corset boots, in a navy and white color scheme.
Will we follow suit this fall and integrate the corset boot into our own wardrobes? We will have to wait and see.
Ahead of her Savage x Fenty performance during New York Fashion Week, Rihanna debuted her boots on Instagram. The show, which took place at the Barclays Center, was as inclusive and varied as we had hoped. Models, actors and dancers flooded the stage, from Cara Delevingne to Joan Smalls and Laverne Cox. The designer has already shown her current collection in the United States, but now she’s bringing it to the City of Light.
