Princess Anne was in Rotterdam on Friday to mark the launch of The Global Mercy – and she did it in a super stylish look
Princess Anne is a fashionable royal, and she proved it on Friday with the stunning ensemble she wore in Rotterdam.

The Princess Royal traveled to the Dutch city on Friday to mark the launch of The Global Mercy, a hospital ship for Mercy Ships International. Anne became a patron of the charity, which provides free medical care to people experiencing poverty, last year. During her visit, the royal met volunteers on the ship, who were preparing to sail to Africa on the vessel.

Corn it was Anne’s fashion that really caught our eye as she looked stunning in a blue tartan coat with red lining and bold red buttons on a red top.

It’s her brooch that really stands out the most from her set, which was designed to look like a knot in a piece of ropelike what would be used on the seas.
The 71-year-old also accessorized a pair of gold earrings and wore a pair of leather gloves for the outing.
Her engagement was the first with the charity since becoming a patron last year, but she had previously visited a sister ship, the Africa Mercy, in 2011.
Anne met volunteers on the boat
After her trip to Rotterdam, Anne praised the association saying: “It is an honor to be a patron of Mercy Ships International and to be part of the celebrations for the first-ever purpose-built teaching hospital ship in the Mercy Ships fleet and family..
“A mix of volunteers bring brilliant surgery, medical knowledge and skills, from countries around the world – but everyone who comes here has a skill and is happy to serve in any capacity, which will help the whole .”

She added: “The success that Mercy Ships has had in training doctors, dentists and doctors to do the work in their own country in the future – that’s a real legacy.”
On Thursday, Anne visited Manchester Royal Infirmary Heliport and she offered another timeless outfit.
The royal became a patron of the charity in 2021
She wore a pale gray button-up coat for the occasion, with a charcoal plaid knee-length skirt and black leather knee-high boots.
The Princess Royal added a subtle splash of color to the look, accessorizing with a patterned silk scarf, royal pearl earrings and a beautiful gold brooch.

The royal styled her short hair in her signature voluminous hairstyle and held a plain black leather handbag in her leather-gloved hands.
She opted for natural makeup, emphasizing her fresh appearance on a rainy day.
