Oti Mabuse cut a relaxed figure as she walked her dog in London on Thursday, after hinting she was leaving Strictly ahead of her Dancing On Ice debut.

The ballroom pro, 31, nailed winter chic in a black quilted jacket with white swirls, which she layered over a plain charcoal T-shirt.

Cutting off a pair of must-have purple joggers, she continued her look with black rubber boots while enjoying the relaxing stroll alongside her pooch, Leo.

She framed her face with oversized glasses and wore her brunette locks in a short clipper cut, while sporting a pair of silver hoop earrings.

The two-time champion recently hinted that her Strictly career may be over after six years and two Glitterball trophies.

The professional dancer confirmed “an announcement will be made later” ahead of her debut as a Dancing On Ice judge this Sunday.

Oti, who joined Strictly in 2015 when partnered with Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo, 33, revealed BBC bosses ‘praised her’ after she landed the ITV job.

She told MailOnline: ‘There will be an announcement later.

“But for me, as someone in the entertainment business, I really want to learn and grow and I want a long career, especially in this country.

“I moved from Africa so I have to do something on my own, so I really try to learn and do everything I can for as long as I can, while I can.

“I did a few panel shows, but I was a dance captain and a dance detective, but I was never told I was a judge.

“I love competition and I love watching people learn new skills and try to improve every week.

“It’s a journey that I’m absolutely enjoying, being part of and watching. Knowing that I’m doing it now with ice skating is very exciting for me. I can’t wait, I’m buzzing.

Strict judge Motsi, 40, guided younger sister Oti’s career and gave her advice on how to become one of TV’s best judges.

Oti, who won the Glitterball Trophy for two consecutive years with Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher, 37, and comedian Bill Bailey, 56, said: ‘We are very close my sister and I and we know we are quite loud and bubbly and his advice to me was just to be myself.

“Everyone from the BBC who congratulated me said the same thing. They said be yourself, be honest, say what you see and say what you feel and say how you hope they will improve. and will improve.

“At the end of the day, it’s about the celebrities and the show and helping them improve to actually win.”

Oti made his debut as a judge in 2019 alongside Cheryl Tweedy, 38, on BBC One series The Greatest Dancer, but his stint on ITV show The Masked Dancer impressed bosses, eventually leading to his role judge on Dancing On Ice.

The South African dancer was also recently revealed as the host of new ITV show Romeo & Duet, telling her Instagram followers this week: “My heart is full of excitement and joy about this announcement.”

Dancing on Ice starts Sunday at 6.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
