With the 2022 MLB All-Star Game fast approaching early next week in Los Angeles,
Preparing for the star-studded MLB weekend, the sportswear giant has released new designs including a contrasting design for the American League team in dark gray and the National League team in white. On the right sleeve, a game crest pays tribute to the host club, namely the Los Angeles Dodgers this year.
In addition to the new jerseys, Nike has also launched new models for the Nike MLB City Connect series. Seven new clubs, including the Colorado Rockies, Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels, Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres and Washington Nationals, are all getting an update of their shirts. The designs make sure to highlight the MLB clubs at the center of the design. Each club shared city-specific mottos and local inspirations with Nike to create memorable and unique jerseys for each of the teams and their communities.
