Jane Fonda stepped out to help host the LA Dance Project’s annual gala on Saturday, she did so by flaunting royal gold.
The actress and activist, who has loved sporting color over the years, was seen throughout the lavish event wearing a muted black gold jacket, with a gold chain watch on her wrist and a ring matching the middle finger. The gorgeous jacket, which was further accented by a tight collar and black and burnt orange dangling earrings, was intricately embroidered with gold stripes and sprinkled with various symbols on its base. The shimmering symbols included bold yin and yang embroidery, as well as a crescent moon, small asterism pattern, and others. It was all tied up with a pair of minimalist black boots and black bootcut pants.

Fonda has never been afraid of tight clothing, she walked the catwalk at a L’Oréal 2017 beauty and fashion event in Paris wearing a tiger print bodycon dress and was seen at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards with a fitted bright red dress, which contrasted sharply with the draped black dress of Lily Tomlin, her co-star in Netflix’s “Grace and Frankie.”
The LA Dance Project’s annual gala, led by artistic director Benjamin Millepied, raised over $ 800,000 this year and remains one of the company’s most profitable fundraising events. It represents half of the annual budget for the year and allows LA Dance to continue commissioning new work, building community partnerships, creating artist residencies and strengthening the arts community in downtown LA.
Here are a few must-haves to help you emulate Fonda’s sleek look.
