Leonel was talking with Aware while working on a play for former Boston Red Sox player Manny Ramirez.
“I do everything myself. I do all the cuts, I do all the seams, I even do the research myself, â€Leonel told In The Know. “So he starts telling a story after a while. The colors chosen, the team jersey, the work with a certain player. Everything is linked to a certain story.
Leonel has designed for a large number of baseball players, including the San Diego Padres Manny Machado and former New York Yankee’s Clint frazier.
“My hope is to someday take this around the world,†Leonel said. “Selling a part takes a lot of effort. You’ve been working on it for so long, and for someone to use their hard earned money to buy one, it’s just very special.
