Heidi Klum wore a confusing dress-meet-leggings hybrid creation by designer Christian Cowan — who calls it an “eggplant sequin dress with built-in stockings” — to the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in Santa Monica, Calif., on April 9. Read on for a closer look at the fully closed leg…

Here’s a look at the sequin “built-in hosiery” that was part of the bizarre Christian Cowan look Heidi Klum wore to the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in Santa Monica, Calif., on April 9. She buckled her black heels adorned with gold locks right over it!

Kim Kardashian showed up at the SKIMS popup in Miami on March 19 in this bizarre futuristic look — a bikini top and high-waisted pants in a shiny silver fabric paired with matching boots. Make things worse? Those ridiculous oversized sunglasses.
_
Bella Hadid apparently asked Guy Fieri for fashion advice when she stepped out in New York on January 26 in this look: jeans, a lime green long-sleeved shirt under a black sweater paired with boots and a beanie with flames on it.
_
That’s a lot of green, Kate Hudson. The star committed to the bright hue when she stepped out in New York on Jan. 25 for an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show” in this cheery lime turtleneck paired with an even brighter neon skirt. But that wasn’t enough for Kate – she also added green heels! It’s not that easy to be green, we suppose!

The outsized Elie Saab selection that Sandra Bullock wore to the premiere of “The Lost City” in Los Angeles on March 21 still has us scratching our heads. While the ruffled dress itself looks stunning with its plunging neckline, thigh-high slit, and ombre effect that ranges from pale pink to bright fuchsia, the style missed the mark: she topped it off with a blazer black and leather thigh-high boots for a completely mismatched vibe look.

What do we have here? We’re not quite sure yet, but Heidi Klum showed up to DIRECTV’s Super Bowl Maxim Electric Nights Big Game Experience party in Los Angeles on Feb. 12 in this barely there lavender dress from the Spring 2022 line. Dundas. If that wasn’t an odd enough choice already, her decision to layer it in a shaggy beige jacket and add some light heels made for a look we wish we could forget about.
_
Florence Pugh’s look at the BAFTA Awards in London on March 13 was confusing to say the least. Carolina Herrera’s design started out simple enough – a long-sleeved minidress – but behind hera low back with a gargantuan pale pink tulle bow at the base.
_
Emily Ratajkowski stepped out in New York on Feb. 15 in that unfortunate yellow and black zebra-striped coat. She paired the confusing outerwear with a black turtleneck, low-rise ripped jeans and sneakers for a weird street style moment.
_
Justin Bieber didn’t take a page from his wife’s fashion book at the Grammys party in Las Vegas on April 3. Instead, he rocked this comical, baggy Balenciaga outfit anchored by a bright pink beanie and clown shoes.
_
Quilted coats had a major moment during winter 2022. Gigi Hadid sported this bold silver-blue version that appeared to have an attached neck pillow while leaving a fashion show in New York on February 13, pairing it to an equally remarkable tie – dyed pants and sneakers.
_
Worst Dressed Star Oscars in Hollywood on March 27? That honor went to Jada Pinkett Smith, who chose this over-the-top Jean Paul Gaultier Couture disaster with a stand-up collar and long sleeves and a train trailing behind her on the red carpet.
_
Kim Kardashian didn’t attend the 2022 Oscars, but she showed up to the Vanity Fair Oscar party in Beverly Hills on March 27 in this Balenciaga look, well… very blue. The figure-hugging highlighter blue dress featured glove-style sleeves and a dramatic train that left many scratching their heads.
_
Ansel Elgort wore this odd teal coat with huge puff sleeves, lots of pockets and a wide collar with room to stow an orange hood that he pulled up as he walked with his friend Lewis Hamilton in New York on February 5.
_
Hunter Schafer rocked this odd Prada choice at the Vanities Party: A Night for Young Hollywood in Los Angeles on March 22. Her jumpsuit featured long sleeves and a loose, wide leg silhouette in an all over print that really missed the mark.
_
Billie Eilish hit the Grammys in Las Vegas on April 3 in a look that was certainly worth remembering — a black Rick Owens number with a massive cape detail over a cropped black dress with a half train. Wrap things up? Silky, form-fitting boots. Why?
_
Oget out and about in New York on March 8ALicia Keys has tried a monochromatic pink outfit, which has been successful in the past (see Jessica Simpson or Kim Kardashian). But her take – a hot pink coat over a capri jumpsuit with a plunging neckline, all paired with hot pink heels to boot – only did not work.
_
Demi Moore served up one of the weirdest accessories of the year at the Saint Laurent show in Paris on March 1. His black shirtless suit was great, but we weren’t a fan of those bright blue gloves.
_
Jared Leto served a glaring lack of fashion to the SAG Rewards in Santa Monica, California on February 27. The pale blue color of his Gucci suit suited him well, but that creased silk was awkward, and he certainly didn’t need that spectacular velvet tie.
_
Dua Lipa wore this seriously bizarre Y Project dress while out and about in New York City on March 1. quite eccentric, pairing it with a baseball cap, knee high socks and chunky sneakers sealed the deal.
_
Roberto Cavalli’s choice of Ciara for the Billboard Women in Music Awards in Los Angeles on March 2 was completely wrong. _
Camila Mendes showed up at the Miu Miu show during Paris Fashion Week on March 8 in this weird combo – a cropped white blouse and denim skirt. And if that wasn’t quirky enough, she added chunky black platforms and a black handbag.
_
Was there something in the air at the Miu Miu show? Vanessa Hudgens arrived at the event during Paris Fashion Week on March 8 in this equally, if not weirder, outfit — a plaid blazer, printed bralette and trouser-inspired shorts — plus chunky sandals black. If the shorts weren’t bad enough, the contrasting prints and the addition of a crop top made this one a miss.
_
Millie Bobby Brown arrived at the 2022 BAFTA Awards in London on March 13 in this unfortunate Louis Vuitton outfit – a peekaboo lace bandeau, unnecessary peplum layer and random slits accessorized with opera gloves.
_

_
Monochromatic moments have been all the rage this year, but that was still no excuse for this very daring but unfortunate look from Kristen Bell. The actress rocked red leather pants with a matching puffer jacket outside of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” studios in Hollywood on January 25, adding white heeled boots to finish off the wild ensemble.
_
The most confusing look at this year’s Oscars? That goes to Maggie Gyllenhaal, who arrived on the red carpet in this structured Schiaparelli design with bizarre gold embellishments that looked like coat hooks.
_
Why?! Kim Kardashian stepped out during Milan Fashion Week in Italy on Feb. 23 in this ill-fitting gold men’s jumpsuit by Prada, leaving it unbuttoned to show off the black Prada Re-Nylon crop top she wore underneath.
_
Chanel is not always synonymous with fabulous fashion. Take this Penelope Cruz look, for example. The fashion house’s long-sleeved black-and-white print dress was a dodgy tailoring that landed it on many worst-dressed lists after she wore it to the ‘Official Competition’ film premiere in Madrid February 21.
