The Jackets have a new sweater this season.
The club have released their Reverse Retro shirt for the 2022-23 season.

“The Blue Jackets’ 2022 Reverse Retro Jersey pays homage to their original ‘Third’ jersey with a reverse black body accented with navy stripes down the sleeves,” according to the release. “Light Blue from the team’s current “Third” adds a pop of color to the sleeves. Two different shoulder patches are used, one featuring a Kepi cap and the other a small version of the original CBJ crest from The original “Third” worn by the club between 2003 and 2007, marked the first appearance of the Blue Jackets’ current primary logo inspired by the Ohio state flag with a unique pennant shape and colors red, white and blue with white stars.”
Jackets will wear these jerseys on November 23, December 4, December 9, December 27, January 16, and January 31.
“The adidas Reverse Retro Authentic Jersey presale is available starting today at 12pm ET at www.thebluelineonline.com with orders shipped and available for pickup Tuesday, November 15,” the statement read. “The 2022 Reverse Retro jersey and merchandise line will be available at Blue Line stores at Nationwide Arena and Polaris Mall as well as thebluelineonline.com beginning Tuesday, November 15.”
